Muscle Contraction: Velocity & Duration

If there’s one thing that affects speed by which our muscles can contract, it’s the load. Load is any weight applied to or carried by our muscles. If we push or lift any object, then we are talking about load. Now, our muscles can contract faster when there is no load; hence, it’s easier to lift our hands above our heads when they are not holding anything. The heavier the load is, the longer th...

Hello, Question: Is around 35-40 minutes still a good length? The recruiters really seemed to like my answers a lot, there were 3 people interviewing me. I'm applying for a nurse RN job at a hospital, this is specifically for a new grad RN training program opportunity. 🙏🙏🙏 After the interview the recruiter asked if i had any questions, and she gave me her buisiness card if i had any questions and said that i should expect a phone call by next week (if im chosen). They really liked my answers to their clinical based questions and nodded their heads and smiled, we laughed a few times too, i wanted to be down-to-earth yet corgial, i was very enthusiatic with them and smiled. I saw them take lots of notes when i replied with my answers, and when i answered certain ones right they said "good 👍". Please let me know your input. 🙏🙏 Also wanted to mentioned, they really liked my resume, and when i submitted my application they called me within 4 hours to schedule an interview. Does this mean anything? I have 8 years of healthcare experience and worked as a CNA and LVN, now applying for an RN role. Also they did say "if you were hired for this role, what would you expect to gain from this position?" And they asked what shifts I would be interested in Day or Night. I said, "im good with either or, im good with what you guys need me for , ive worked AM, PM, and graveyard". I kinda goofed on one question, but hopefully that doesnt make or break me out of all the questions they asked me. They did mention "if you are chosen for this position, what would you expect to gain if you are hired here?" Is that bad or good? 😅 They really liked my answer when i said i want to gain RN experience, become a great nurse leader, develop quick thinking skills, learn more ways to advocate for my patients. I would greatly appreciate your input on the above please. 🙏🙏🙏

Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with 100 questions. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for nclex:(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying 😢 😭💔💔🤕😓😔💔💔😓

Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

dont waste your time with the mental health brigade, as long as youre sick they get paid! They will leave you just coping, not cure you. My advice is to consult a shaman. they can bring miraculous healing, not always but they wont leave you half assed like a shrink will do. Good luck my friends, from some one who has been there!

Schizophrenia is caused by consumption of wheat. There are five different types of fungus in the wheat plants and unscrupulous farmers notice the difference in colour in the wheat fields but grind it into flour just to make money. The black fungus is the worst. Bread is one of the worst foods to put in your mouth as it contains gluten which is harmful to the body and brain. An authority on gluten is a cardiologist from Milwaukee, US, named Dr William Davis who even wrote the Book titled Big Belly. Listen to his podcasts on UA-cam to know the facts on why gluten is bad. Diabetics must stay completely away from consuming wheat. The wheat plant has been genetically modified. The original wheat plant was tall and contained only 4 grams of gluten but the GMO wheat now has 20 grams of gluten and the scientist was given a Nobel prize. What a shame!
